   Laminated menus can be produced with a sealed edge that extends beyond the paper or it can be cut flush to the edge of the menu. Many restaurants choose not to show the extra lamination edge because of the clean, minimalist look. With a sealed edge, the lamination extends slightly beyond the paper, creating a protective barrier around the menu. Some restaurants choose to have the extra laminated edges for added durability and protection. Sealed edges help prevent moisture, dirt, and other contaminants from reaching the paper. All of these options offer excellent results, and the best choice ultimately comes down to your personal preference.
